This is a gorgeous set! It is a vintage early 1950s left in exclusives of Japan. Hand-painted cup and saucer set made of delicate china. The blue is like a robin's egg blue and is the background for the gold gilt, purple flowers with lavender and greenery.  No chips or cracks on this and was just stored away for many decades.
