Beautiful vintage Byzantine icon reproduction featuring The Virgin of Vladimir (Our Lady of Vladimir) mounted on a solid wood plaque.

According to the original certificate on the reverse, this icon is a faithful reproduction of the famous 11th-century Byzantine original housed in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. Produced on canvas over wood with a rich gold background in the traditional Byzantine style.

A wonderful devotional piece for a prayer corner, home altar, or display, and an excellent addition to any collection of Orthodox Christian art.
