Up for sale is a professionally built and custom-finished large scale model of the legendary Japanese fighter. This piece meticulously replicates the late-WWII A6M5c Type 52c variant piloted by the famous ace Warrant Officer Takeo Tanimizu.

Condition:
Expertly assembled and detailed. Key features include an added antenna wire seatbelts and realistically weighted landing wheels. The second canopy section is left unglued for display options and the cowling can be detached to expose the detailed engine beneath. Major markings such as the national insignia (Hinomaru) tail identification numbers and propeller warning stripes are custom masking painted preventing long-term fading or cracking. High-quality decals are used exclusively for the specific kill marks cockpit instruments and manufacturer data plates. The model is finished with panel line engraving a subtle wash and a protective flat clear coat. This is a custom built item completed by an experienced hobbyist.
