This is an authentic vintage Japanese wood-carved Kagura mask representing Sarutahiko / a powerful Shinto ritual demon (Oni). Crafted by the renowned "Sogeisha" workshops during the mid-Showa period, this mask is traditionally used in Bitchu Kagura—a sacred theatrical dance designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property in Japan.
The mask features a striking, fierce expression with green horns, sharp fangs, and inlaid stylized hair, exuding an incredible spiritual energy perfect for wall display and protection against evil spirits.

■ Condition
As a genuine vintage period piece from the mid-20th century, it shows minor signs of age and wear (light scuffs and surface weathering) but remains in overall great vintage condition. The wooden structure and facial details are fully intact. Please inspect the photos for close-up details.
