This is the second edition, year 2000, of the oficial commemorativebook published for the First Soccer World Cup, held in 1930 in Uruguay. This second edition was published on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of this tournament, and as the first one edition (made in 1930), is also limited of only 3,000 pieces and is individually numbered - 1/3000. 

This work, written in two languages (E nglish in the appendix) , Spanish and French, (the latter the official language of F.I.F.A.), was directed by the writer Arturo Carbonell Debali, under the A.U.F. (Uruguayan Soccer Association), control. Its 123 wonderfully illustrated pages with drawings and photos contain all the information about the progress of the First Soccer World Championship, not only the sport event but also the official, protocol and social activities .

Besides the book, is added a complete catalog of the First Soccer World Cup Memorabilia (trilingual edition, English, Spanish and French) which also includes a price guide of collectables. These two books are bounded in a folding case which desing is inspired in the their front covers. Only 3000 copies of the first edition book were edited, and today only a few are known to be owned by collectors and are in good shape. It is indeed one of the most valued soccer books around the world. This set is number 1124 (please see pics) of the second edition and includes the certificate of authenticity with serial number of the book .
