A vintage Conway Stewart Model 100 fountain pen, made in England and finished in glossy black with gold-coloured trim.

The Model 100 was Conway Stewart’s premium fountain pen during the 1950s. It was produced only in black and was priced above the Model 60 when sold in 1955.

The pen has a substantial rounded profile with a broad cap band, Conway Stewart clip, decorative cap crown and a traditional side-lever filling system.

The barrel inscription is present and clearly reads:

Conway Stewart 100
Made in England

Nib

The pen is fitted with an original Conway Stewart 14ct gold nib and ebonite feed. The nib shows light patination and signs of previous use but appears well aligned in the photographs.

Service history

The pen was professionally serviced in 2025 and is offered in working order.

Included

The pen is supplied with a vintage Conway Stewart presentation box. The box remains attractive but shows age-related wear, including marks, rubbing, discolouration and deterioration to parts of the interior edging.

Condition

The pen is in used vintage condition and displays normal signs of age, including:

General cosmetic wear in view of its vintage condition

Age-related wear to the presentation box

The barrel inscription remains clearly visible. No cracks are apparent from the photographs.
