From a carefully maintained estate camera collection comes this Nikon Nikkor ED 400mm f/5.6 AI manual focus telephoto lens for Nikon F mount cameras.

This lens has been inspected and is in very nice vintage condition. The optics are clean with no haze or fungus present. There is a small amount of internal dust typical of a lens of this age, but nothing significant.

Mechanically, everything operates as it should. The focus ring turns smoothly, the aperture ring has firm, positive detents, and the aperture blades are clean and free of oil. The built-in telescoping hood slides smoothly and holds its position well. The rotating tripod collar also rotates and locks securely with no issues.

Cosmetically, the lens shows only light signs of normal use while maintaining an attractive appearance.
