On offer from the 1930s/40s is a game called " P M Plus & Minus". It was invented by W.H.Storey & Co. (William Henry Storey), and the company went into liquidation in about 1954. The game was "Made in England" as marked on the box, but the maker is unknown - it might be Waddington's. Sadly not all parts of the game are present. Please take a good look at the pictures as they form part of the item description.

The game is designed for four players. It consists of four playing boards, and a deck of plus and minus cards. All of the cards are present, and are in nice condition. They have no rips or repairs, and no creases. The playing boards are also in good condition as pictured. Sadly the playing pieces/tokens are all missing, but could easily be substituted with counters. There are no instructions included in the box, but I did find some online.

The pieces come in the original outer box that measures about 18.5cm x 19.5cm x 4cm. The inner storage tray is present as shown. The box is a bit bumped and rubbed on the coprners and edges, and one corner is split on the lid. There are signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use, but overall it's still pretty firm. There is some pencil writing inside the lid but that could be erased.

Despite the faults this is still a lovely old game. It displays well, and if you got some playing tokens would probably be fun to play.
