This auction is for an original, vintage *Entex® Models plastic Scale Model Kit. Original/Vintage Kits are hard to find unbuilt, still in the original factory-sealed box!

It remains unbuilt in the Original Factory-Sealed Retail Display Box which is in above average condition (has slight cellophane shrink) with attractive box graphics.

This ModelCzar© Scale Model is from a private collection of over 1000 Dealer Promotionals, Vintage Model Kits and pro-built scale models that were purchased and retained.

ModelCzar© Scale Models' Kits have been safely stored in a controlled environment. They haven't been shipped back-and-forth after changing owners on numerous occasions.

The model kits in the ModelCzar© collection avoided the trauma of being hauled around to swap-meets and flea markets and be constantly poked-through while sitting unattended, on a table baking in the hot summer sun.

New model kits cost over $30.00. The 'reissues' look nice, but they may lack some of the details, custom parts, and authentic racing accessories that were found in the manufacturer's original (ie: the annual) model kits.

Vintage Model Kits are Fragile and Irreplaceable!

Full disclosure (1) When you have a diverse collection with thousands of scale model cars in several different scales, you too will find a need for some form of control over counting and managing the collection inventory.

Photos show ModelCzar© inventory labels applied on one end of the box. This label usage facilitates scanning, which helps in locating diverse items in a large inventory.

Bidders should be advised that the ModelCzar© labels are already on the box, and they will still be on the box when the Kit is shipped to the new owner in order to facilitate the return process should there be any reason to return it.

The inventory labels were placed on the end where the box was least attractive because old adhesive price stickers, scuff marks, or some other type of damage had already marred that end of the box.

These are high-quality Avery® brand labels. With a little patience, they can be removed without damage to the box. Easy removal instructions will be provided to the Buyer.

ModelCzar© inventory labels were checked for ease of removal before using them, and the ModelCzar© labels will remove easier than the old Retail adhesive price stickers.

For 'box collectors' seeking perfection: this vintage Model Kit is in a 20-50 year-old paperboard box. 'Perfection' might best be found by looking for it somewhere else.

Full disclosure (2) NO RETURNS if the Factory-Sealed Box Has been Unwrapped, Opened, Altered, or Damaged in any way, shape or form!

(2a) If any ModelCzar© labels are removed, or the cellophane box wrapping has been removed or cut, this Model Kit is NOT returnable.

(2b) This Item: was advertised as a 'factory-sealed' box. Once a sealed box has been opened or tampered-with, the value and integrity of the Item inside has been diminished. Therefore, Return of the Item would not be accepted!

(2c) Hi-res color photos of the box were provided to the Buyer that showed ModelCzar© labels had been applied, and that the box was factory-sealed, and notations of same are included and highlighted in the auction description.

(2d) Any modification alters & devalues the overall condition of the kit and jeopardize the integrity of assembly parts inside the box!

(2e) Unscrupulous Internet Trolls have been known to buy an item, open it up and remove or substitute a valuable part or, they 'damage' something, and return the Item they pilfered or damaged to get their money back.

That kind of mischief won't happen here because the ModelCzar© labels, and the original cellophane box wrapping must remain intact, just as was originally received: both ModelCzar© 'labeled' and 'factory-sealed'.

Full disclosure (3) Cellophane box wrapping will shrink over time and deform the paperboard box. The printed instructions may fade from years of exposure to light.

A 40-year-old paper decal may discolor or get brittle simply from its age, and here, that possibility exists with the advanced age of the decals in this vintage Model Kit.

Full disclosure (4) Plastic parts can warp, discolor, or stain, just as rubber parts can (and will) distort, stiffen up, or tires placed carelessly may leave marks on other parts.

Full disclosure (5) Plastic 'glass' may have microscopic scuffing and body parts can get scratched due to Their movement inside the box.

Plastic 'glass' can be polished, and most plastic parts will end-up covered with paint.

Experienced modelers know how to work around these common issues found with older model kits. They also know that with today's modern print technology, almost anything that's needed can be reproduced.

Try to remember that these are vintage model kits; and similar to the vintage vehicles they've been modeled after, nothing that's nearly 50 years old is going to be perfectly perfect.

Full disclosure (6) Like you, I did not pack the box at the factory; even when new, a sealed model kit could be missing a part, or it could have an extra part. Remember: people pack boxes, and being human, people sometimes made mistakes. It-Is-What-It-Is

INSURANCE COVERAGE

This Vintage model kits would be hard-if not impossible-to replace. ModelCzar© Scale Models ships every item via USPS Priority Mail fully insured against the possibility of shipping damage, or the chance of being 'lost' in-transit. Should anything bad happen, no one loses their money!

SHIPPING DAMAGE

This Item was fully insured. Upon payment, ownership of this Item will transfer to the Buyer.

It then becomes the Buyer's obligation to return their received-damaged item to their local USPS location to seek restitution should something bad happen to their Item due to the actions or inactions of USPS shipping contractors.

It makes NO sense to ship damaged Items back when shipping damage can be verified locally. Plus, you get money back faster when dealing directly with the people who were responsible!

RETURNS

If you're at all unsure that this Item will fit your modeling needs, please take time to ask questions or refrain from bidding, purchasing it, tampering with it, or opening it!

(1) The ModelCzar© labels must remain intact to return this Item. If the inventory labels are no longer affixed to a factory-sealed box, this Item is not going to be Returnable.

(2) The sealed-box can't be opened or tampered with; if it was, the Item has been devalued, the parts inside have been compromised, and the open Item is no longer Returnable.

(3) Since the Buyer changed their mind, it will become the Buyer's obligation to pay for the return Shipping with full-value insurance coverage on the returned Item!
