On offer is a used part set of Gunther Wagner Pelikan 575/½ pastels / crayons. The original set had 12 sticks, but there is only 10 remaining. The pastels come in the original tin as pictured. The Gunther Wagner Pelikan company was founded in the 1830s, but was sold in the 1980s when it went bankrupt. Please take a good look at the pictures as they form part of the item description.

The pastels measures about 7cm in length. There are 10 different colour shades, and they have all had some use. Two of the sticks have broken in half, but the rest are complete. There are signs of age as the pictures show.

The hinged-lid tin measures about 9cm x 8cm x 1cm. The lid design is green, white and black, and the lettering and trademark design on it is still clear. There are signs of wear and tear to it commensurate with age and use, and these include some rusting/corrosion. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and stays in place when shut.

Despite the cosmetic faults this is still a lovely vintage item. It displays well, and will make a delightful addition to any collection.
