This ad is taken from a 1974 issue of the British music paper Melody Maker
In 1974 Genesis released a classic prog album about a kid lost on Broadway. By 1975 some of the members were married, some had children, but Genesis themselves would divorce. Over 400 singers were auditioned to replace Peter Gabriel. They ended up with their own drummer
