Offered is a pre-season program from the October
16, 1961 game played between the Detroit Pistons vs the Cincinnati
Royals that was played at the Niles Century Club in Niles, Michigan. The Royals won 129-117.
Oscar Robertson had 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists (Triple Double) to lead the Royals in their 7th exhibition game out of 9 in the pre-season. Cinci’s other high scorers were Jack Twyman with 17, Arlen Bockhorn 18, Bob Boozer 15, and Wayne Embry with 15.
Bailey Howell and Don Ohl led the the Pistons with 16 and 20 points respectively in the loss in front of 1350 fans.
