Product Introduction
The VF-0 is a prototype of the VF-1 variable fighter jet, which the United Nations Forces are rapidly developing, incorporating advanced technology obtained from the alien warship, commonly known as ASS-1, that crashed in 1999.
The VF-0 can transform into three forms to accommodate all combat scenarios: a fighter jet-type form, a Gerwalk form with excellent hovering capabilities, and a Battroid form suited for close-quarters ground combat.
Originally, the VF-0 was a prototype test aircraft and not equipped for combat. However, when the Anti-Unification Alliance decided to deploy variable fighters in combat, it was hastily modified by over-tuning a conventional jet engine and adding weaponry.
The airframe is also slightly larger than the VF-1 to accommodate the engine.
Because the handling of a variable fighter differs significantly between fighter and battroid modes, pilots need not only advanced skills but also quick judgment and flexible adaptability.
The commander-type S model is equipped with two Maurer laser cannons on its head and a formation command system.
The pilot is Roy Focker, who, as a pilot, is intimately familiar with every aspect of the VF-0 while it was still under development and possesses outstanding piloting skills.
The VF-0S, the aircraft piloted by Roy Focker and featured in the new OVA "Macross Zero," is now available as a model kit with completely new molds.
This aircraft was developed before the VF-1 Valkyrie.
The aircraft's dimensions are larger than those of the VF-1, and the kit itself is quite substantial.
Packed with Hasegawa's signature aircraft detailing! The main wings can be deployed in conjunction with each other.
The leg fastpacks, air brakes, and cockpit can be opened or closed as desired. A pilot figure is included. It is also compatible with Macross stands.
