While *I* can't find any evidence of such, AI says this is a genuine Longaberger Market Basket featuring the classic interlocking X-shaped wood runners on the bottom designed to protect the woven bottom from wear and tear.  This basket has certainly seen some wear and tear.  Both X-runners need a new nail (each has one holding it on but each is missing the one from the other end) or alternative repair.  While the basket is a little rough, it's still good and functional and could be used for many different purposes.  If you're just looking to decorate with the Longaberger name but don't want to pay new prices, here's a great alternative for you!  Make me an offer!!

The basket measures 17.25" long, 13.5" wide and 9" tall.  What you see in our photos is what you get!  We'll box it up carefully so it gets to you in as good condition as possible!
