Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II, made in 1995, used.

Named for jazz master Joe Pass, this affordable take on the Emperor II he favored is a Korean-made example from the Samick factory era, with a semi-vintage character.

A touch smaller than a usual full hollow body, it offers high playability that suited Pass's preference for a small body, with rich resonance and good value.

Production ended in 2022.

There are slight scratches and small dings.

The truss rod works well with ample room both ways; the neck is adjusted so the treble side is straight, leaving the bass side with slight forward bow, with no playing issue.

The frets show faint wear but have plenty of height with no playing issue.
