Authentic piece of Scandinavian mid-century modern art pottery. This small, organically shaped asymmetric dish was handmade by Zeuthen Keramik in Gentofte, Denmark during the 1950s or 1960s.
Designed in the studio's highly collectible signature style pioneered by ceramist Edith Nielsen, the bowl features a matte, unglazed terracotta redware exterior. The interior is decorated with a glossy, raised slip-trailed white glaze depicting a stylized floral/clover motif surrounded by precision polka dots.
