Long-played examples develop a natural sheen on frequently rubbed areas such as the picking area and neck back, giving the matte finish a distinctive aging.

The bridge is a hardtail string-through non-tremolo type.

Body is soft maple, neck is maple with rosewood, pickups are Edwards Original, bridge is thinline type, finish is mat black.

The neck is almost straight, action at 12th fret is 1.5mm treble and 2.0mm bass, fret remaining about 70 percent, truss rod fine, sound fine.

There are scratches, dents, and tarnished parts overall, with extensive sticker-removal marks on the body back.

The pegs have been changed to Grover.
