This is a vintage marked Satsuma Japan lidded trinket box. It is a cream color with maroon and white flowers with gold leaves and the flowers are outlined in gold as well. There is some gold trim coming off....see pic. It is 1-1/2" tall with the lid on it and 1/2 deep inside. This is a gorgeous vintage hand painted piece. Great piece to add to any collection.
