An extraordinary 19-inch marine-salvaged sculptural vessel, naturally transformed while submerged in the Charlotte Harbor–Peace River coastal waters of Florida.
Recovered by a local fisherman after an extended period underwater, the vessel developed an exceptionally dense covering of natural barnacles, shells and marine deposits. During its time submerged, it remained in the water through several devastating Gulf Coast hurricanes before eventually being recovered.
The result is a remarkable collaboration between a man-made vessel and nature—an organic surface that can never be duplicated.
Thousands of individual barnacle formations cover virtually the entire exterior, creating extraordinary texture in natural shades of sand, ivory, gray and weathered coastal tones. Its generous rounded body, pronounced shoulders and narrower opening give it impressive sculptural presence.
At approximately 19 inches tall, this is a substantial statement piece that can be displayed completely unadorned or used as a dramatic vessel for florals and branches.
Shown Styled Two Ways
Several photographs show the vessel alone so its natural marine-encrusted surface can be fully appreciated. Other photographs show it styled with lifelike silk poppies in rich red, coral and orange tones together with natural decorative twigs, demonstrating its potential as a dramatic interior statement piece.

The marine encrustation has not been artificially recreated. Because the natural formations can be delicate, minor shedding or small losses may occur with handling or transportation.
