This French school painting is a watercolor on paper depicting a couple walking side by side along the sidewalk, the figure in black appears to have it's arm around the lower back of the person dressed in red. There is a row of houses along the left with a high wall and park to the right. This impressionist painting is signed and dated lower right but it is illegible, maybe you know the artist. It is housed in a finished corner gilt wood frame with linen wrapped mat over off-white mat with protective glass front. It is quite a serene and very well done painting, I only wish I knew who the artist is.
