Description:
A very beautiful antique Art Nouveau period figural lamp of a beautiful woman musician. The lamp is titled Danseuse and is after Spanish artist Perdo Rigual. It is a two arm candelabrum lamp with tole decorated leaves and colorful flowers. The sculpture sit's atop a marble base with plaque reading "Danseuse Par Rigual". It still retains a beautiful patina with highlighted colors throughout. The lamp is in fine working condition with a simple twist knob on the base. The "candles" are plastic cover protecting the electric underneath. Overall a really beautiful lamp ready to be used. The crepe shades are very nice with their flared and pleated design. The insides have wired that wrap around the bulb, these wires could use a little adjustment, I can't get my hand in their but they hold on fairly good.
Measures; 16 1/2" to top of shades, without shades and bulbs, 13 1/4" tall x 11 1/2" wide x 6" deep.
Condition:
The figure originally had a horn in her hands which is long gone. Minor wear to paint on toe, hair and a few other high points, the two solder joints that attach the metal tubes to her body have detached. It is very strong and the arms are not floppy and do not move as it is, I would not worry about it, it works and is perfect displaying just as it is, nothing is missing or "damaged". The plastic candle covers are cracked and can easily be replaced at a hardware or lamp store. Please view all photographs as they are part of the condition report.

My name is Kevin Bruneau and I have been in the fine arts and collectibles business for over 30 years. I've owned antique shops, auction houses, a consignment shop, and even did a TV reality show hunting down collectible treasures. Today I travel hundreds of miles per week to find interesting pieces to bring to my BKCranston eBay site. Most items are sourced from local house-calls, auctions, and estate tag and yard sales. My interests are broad so you will never know what I will list next. It could be an old master paintings or a baseball card collection.
