How to select stitches

The Intarsia keyplate can be adjusted to give four stitch sizes equivalent to four KeyPlates. The positions are marked 1 to 4 and you can adjust the keyplate to give half sizes as well.

The intarsia KeyPlates leaves the needles in Forward working position (FWP) after knitting a row. This makes it easy to knit pictures. To knit intarsia without the Intarsia keyplate you have to push the needles into FWP by hand after knitting each row.
