This listing is for (1) vintage Series 77 Miniatures fully assembled and painted miniature of "Drum Major George Aldridge".  My understanding is Mr. Aldridge was the Drum Major of the Queens Foot Guards at the time of the ascension of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne of England in 1952.  From the research I've done I believe this figure was produced by Series 77 sometime in the 1980's.

I did not assemble or paint this figure myself.  I acquired it from an estate sale back in the late 1990's.  

The artist who painted it was clearly very gifted as the paint work on the figure is beautiful and remains in excellent condition.  I've had it in a glass display case for decades which has helped protect the paint.  The level of detail is really remarkable.

Hate to give these up but need to let some stuff go so we can downsize.
