One (1) Round Pierced Platter by Royal Copenhagen in the Flora Danica Pattern
in good - manufacturer 2nd - condition.
This regal pattern was first produced by Royal Copenhagen from 1790 to 1960 and then reintroduced as a new line in 1961. It features various hand-painted plant motifs based on the the Danish botanical encyclopedia, Flora Danica. Each design as a result differs slightly. This piece was made between 1923-1934. Piece number is 3526 and what looks like the letter L.
This piece is previously owned and in good overall condition with some minor imperfections from the making- it is also therefore marked as a manufacturer 2nd and has some roughness to the edges and base. Beautifully made all the same.
This piece has no chips, cracks, or repairs and would be a wonderful addition to any Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica collection.
