Classic rectangular closed metal frame with a fixed blade and cross-hatched ebony handle for a secure grip. This type of saw was used for bone cutting and amputations in hospital and military surgery. Marked ‘Thuerrigle’. Shows age‑related wear and spotting to the metal consistent with use and age, but remains solid and displays well.
