TThe much sought after BEST sounding pressing of Led Zeppelin's classic album LED ZEPPELIN II (RL SS BOTH SIDES HOT CUT PRESSWELL)!
One of the most sought after pressings of all time. Not only is it one of the BEST SOUNDING pressings of all time, but it's almost never seen in above VG condition due to the fact that everyone who had one played it to DEATH haha. I can't name many albums where finding a decent one in VG is seen as a huge score. Now imagine having one in EXCELLENT+. Well one of you will never have to wonder again.
The RL pressings were mastered by highly-renowned mastering engineer Robert Ludwig and are known as the "HOT MIX" due to the intense loudness of the mix -- the way Led Zeppelin was meant to be heard! When you A/B test them with non-RL copies it is immediately clear how much of the ferociousness is lost on later pressings. These copies are incredibly scarce as when this was initially released it was withdrawn due to the fact that it caused the less-capable turntables of that time to skip. This just so happened to happen to the daughter of an Atlantic Records executive which led to production of all copies of this pressing swiftly coming to a halt.
Subsequently this created a perfect storm where the best pressing is also one of the rarest.

Been a pleasure seeing my clean RL's going to happy collectors, as well as bittersweet as they are tough to let go!. This copy is incredibly clean I was very close to grading it NM but a couple small hairlines on side B have made it a conservative EX+. These almost NEVER show up in this condition as 1. Barely any survived above VG and 2. Nobody who has one wants to let it go. Congratulations to the person who this one goes to, once it's gone it's gone!

For INTERNATIONAL customers worried about tariffs: Customs forms are filled out with the Harmonisation Code "Vinyl Records: 8523.80.1000" and described as "Informational Materials: phonograph (vinyl) record” which should excuse any vinyl being subject to tariffs. Although I cannot accept liability if customs makes a mistake, the vast majority of my sales are international and everyone has been very happy with no complaints! (see my feedback)

Cleaning: All vinyl sold by me is carefully cared for and cleaned with one of the most effective processes in the field. Manually cleaned with a Disco Stat + Loricraft combination with a formulated distilled water and alcohol mixture, and a tergikleen + glycol surfactant. The process is then finished off with an Ultrasonic Degritter cleaning to blast out and rinse any other impurities that may still remain. This is one of the key factors into why the vinyl I sell on sounds so clean and lacks the surface noise you may get from a seller who doesn't go to the same lengths as this vinyl obssessed guy over here :)!
