This vintage postcard features the Daniel Boone Homestead, specifically the Bertolet-Herbein-Snyder log house, circa 1740. It is a typical Oley Valley log house, located near Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. The homestead is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and was restored in 1966 to preserve this classic example of early log construction.
