Up for auction/sale is a vintage 1990s Panasonic RQ-SW20 ShockWave portable cassette player featuring the VMSS (Vibrating Music Sound System).
PLEASE NOTE: This unit is being sold strictly FOR PARTS / NOT WORKING / UNTESTED. It has suffered significant cosmetic damage to the rear casing and is intended for hobbyists, collectors, or technicians looking for internal donor parts.
Untested: The unit has not been tested with batteries or a power supply. Its operational status (radio, tape motor, belt condition) is completely unknown.
Severe Casing Damage: The back cover has suffered a severe chemical/plastic reaction or heat deformation. The plastic housing on the reverse side is melted, warped, and heavily deformed (please see photos closely).
Front Casing: The front yellow housing, buttons, and display clear cover remain in relatively decent cosmetic shape with standard scuffs and marks from age.
