A nice example of a section of ichthyosaur ribcage fossil from the Jurassic beach of Watchet, North Somerset UK.

The limestone matrix measures 78 mm (3.1 inches) across and consists of part of the ribcage of an adult ichthyosaur. The bones are well preserved and has been prepared using air abrasive techniques. 

There are seven partial articulated ribs plus a small vertebra and the tip of a tiny tooth in the matrix. This would have come from a larger, possibly complete animal. The level of preservation in the bone is very high. Articulated bone material from this location is rare and hard to find.

Around 200 million years old (Hettangian, Early Jurassic), this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
