A wonderfully curved otter food bowl~Nicely carved image of an otter on his back with a bowl in his stomach area~ Very nice red Cedar wood used~ good patination from handling~ about 13 inches long by 5.5 inches wide~4 inches high at the head~ Lovely wood grain showing through all over the surface~ Probably 1890 to 1910 ~ Tlingit Indian carved from Inside Passage of Alaska ~from an Upstate New York estate house sale to Throck Morton
