Grass edge trimmer is a very useful and effective tool for installation of synthetic turf, it can help us to quickly cut the extra edge(extra backing of turf) or the extra part of turf. It has a handle to hold it by hand in a manner of crouching, however a stick(long handle) in a proper length is strongly to attach to this tool so that you can walk quickly and comfortable. There is a hoop for connecting stick or tube as a long handle.

how to install the blade
Spin the butterfly nut and loosen the fixing plate, insert the blade under fixing plate, keep about 1cm of blade projecting. If it is too long, the blade will touch ground and stops you moving smoothly, if it is too short, the tool would jump out from turf backing, adjust it until you can use it smoothly and comfortably.
Tips: please wear cut resistant gloves when installing blades.

Two use options
There is a handle and hoop on the tool, you can use it direcly by hand, or insert a long wood stick or pipe to the hoop so that you can walk comfortbaly to cut the long turf

It is comfortable and qucik to cut the short turf by hand.

How to cut turf extra backing cloth
For cutting turf extra backing cloth on the edge of turf, you can cut from the turf front side
Cut from backing side of the turf
If you want to cut the turf into pieces, cut from backing side of turf alongside of stitches, do not cross the stitches.
TIPS:
- Blades are replaceable, better blade can be applied for cutting very thick turf back.
- This tool should be operated by trained installers, keep it away from children and untrained people
