This 120-page Self-Study Course Product Knowledge Manual gives all kinds of information about the Porsche 911 Carrera and 911 Turbo for the 1988 model year. 

It was only printed for internal use, therefore, only printed in a very small run of copies.  There was no book for the 1989 model year. 

 

It was distributed to dealerships for their salespeople to use and understand the Porsche cars from an in-depth perspective. 

The manual is designed to help the Salesperson to understand, and therefore enable him/her to present the many features which the 944 offers.

 

There is many illustrations, charts, numbers, figures, and pictures to complement the reading and discussion.

The test was actually a certification designed to allow the salesperson to not only sell more cars but also get additional benefits offered by Porsche Audi at the time (prized, cash award etc…)

 

In addition, it has a number of short tests throughout the book that are designed to help the salesperson understand certain concepts discussed. 

 

It is quite amazing to see how much information Porsche has packed into this large book.  And since Porsche printed it, you can count on it being very accurate. 

 

 

Condition:                            The book has wear at the corners and edges, some yellowing due to age.  

                                               Inside pages are very good. 

 

Dimensions:                        It is approx. 8.5” x 11” in size and has 120 pages.
