This elegant cylindrical piece features a finely painted mountain landscape with misty peaks, pine trees, and tiny wandering figures rendered in soft watercolor-style enamels. A delicate gilt rim adds refinement to the clean porcelain form.

The upper portion bears a signed Chinese calligraphic inscription with artist seal. The poetic inscription references the scenic beauty of Jiangnan, the celebrated region south of the Yangtze River long associated with classical Chinese painting and poetry.
