For anyone not familiar with the S8 in the D2 platform, here is a brief overview;

The body and chassis are aluminium, making it not only very light, but also extremely corrosion resistant. The V8 in this facelift model produces 360hp. They'll achieve around 30mpg on a motorway run. This was Audi's flagship model and still stands out as a fast, luxurious car. S8 was given notoriety as the star of the Hollywood film 'Ronin' (with Robert De Niro in a supporting role).

I've owned this S8 for the past 10 years. It has been garaged during my tenure. As you can see from the photos, it has been de-badged and standard A8 seats fitted, as I far prefer them. It will be sold with the original badged grill. I have also upgraded the audio system. Original Recaro black leather sport seats and Bose audio/nav/tv available by seperate negotiation.

MOT until 01/03/2027 Recently there has been a lot of work completed, a great deal of which was not done out of necessity, but rather in the name of longevity and care for the car. This is probably not an exhaustive list as its hard to remember everything, but you'll get the idea.... New serpentine belt New rear calipers Rebuilt front calipers Pads and disks all round New fuel pump, filter, o rings, etc New Michelin Primacy all round New wiper motor Subframes refurbished All coil packs replaced New ignition leads and spark plugs New coolant temperature sensor New headlight level sensors front and rear New springs all round New track rod ends New suspension arms New wheel bearings Headlights rebuilt Water pump and guides done 5k miles ago Engine services always completed on time with high quality oil. Gearbox services completed by a specialist.
