On Reverse a duplicate purple boxed “CERTIFICADO” and “CORREO AEREO” with Lima 11 Sept 39 , Cristobal, c.z. SEP 12 1939,  Cincinnati, Ohio  15 SEP 1939 (multiple stamps) Middletown Ohio SEP 15 1939 registered transits documenting routing via Panagra (Lima–Panama) and Pan American Airways (Panama–Miami) with onward U.S. distribution.

A fine commercial example of registered transcontinental airmail with full backstamp chain, likely conveying financial or contractual documentation. Centre crease not affecting stamps. See photo for condition.
