Rare Custom Modified Jupiter-8M 2/50mm – Classic Sonnar Character for your Sony!

Up for sale is a unique version of the legendary Soviet Jupiter-8M lens (Arsenal factory). Originally designed for Contax/Kiev rangefinders, this particular lens has been modified with an M39 thread ring and comes with a Sony E-mount (NEX) adapter.

Key Features:

Optics: Clean and clear glass. No fungus, no scratches, no heavy cleaning marks.

Aperture: Works smoothly across the entire range.

Rendering: Based on the famous Zeiss Sonnar scheme. It provides a beautiful, "creamy" bokeh and a vintage artistic   look that modern lenses cannot replicate.

Technical Note :

This is a custom modification. Since the original Jupiter-8M body doesn't have an internal focusing helicoid, focusing is achieved by partially unscrewing the lens within the M39-NEX adapter thread.

Best For: Artistic portraits, close-up, and macro photography.

Focusing: Manual rotation of the lens body.

Infinity Focus: Due to the custom nature of this mount, infinity focus may not be reachable. This lens is sold specifically as a creative tool for character-driven shots.

What’s included:

   1. Jupiter-8M 2/50mm Lens (Modified).

   2. L39-NEX Adapter for Sony cameras.

The lens is ready to use on your Sony A6000, A7 series, NEX, or any other E-mount camera right out of the box!

Condition:

Excellent optical condition. Clean lenses. Custom modified for Sony E-mount. Focusing is performed by unscrewing the lens body. Perfect for artistic portraits.
