Add a touch of mid-century pin-up charm to your collection with this lot of two vintage advertising blotter cards featuring artwork by renowned pin-up artist Earl Moran. Produced by Brown & Bigelow of St. Paul, Minnesota, these blotters were created as promotional items for Jamaica Sash & Door Co. of New Hyde Park, New York, during the 1940s.
Each blotter is printed on sturdy card stock with a blue reverse side and measures approximately 3 5/16" x 6 1/8". The pair features two different pin-up illustrations by Earl Moran and remains in good vintage condition, showing wear consistent with age, including light soiling and handling wear.
The captions featured on the blotters are:
• “Sing it, swing it... The music’s thrilling. Think I could get a Broadway billing?”
• “Here’s a lass who’s mighty fetching, even when she wakes up stretching.”
