A rare 19th century Ottoman textile placemat tablecloth hand-embroidered with gold threads. The piece features an Ottoman Tughra (imperial seal) in the center and a striking circular composition divided into segments, richly decorated with stylized floral motifs and symbolic elements. Embroidered with gold metalic threads and color cotton threads with gold metallic fibre. The outer border is finished with a delicate lace trim, enhancing its authentic period character.  Found at estate sale in Sofia.
