The chain features a traditional woven construction executed over a textile rope core, providing excellent strength and durability. Finished with a large spring ring and gilt brass dog clip, both retaining strong springs and remaining fully functional.

The decorative repoussé silver fittings are adorned with symbolic motifs including a heart, cross, and acorn, representing the classic themes of Faith, Hope, and Love. The central divider bears the Austrian “AW” silver export mark dating to the late 19th century and also professionally tasted.An exceptional period accessory with strong Victorian and sentimental jewelry character, beautifully preserved with only minor wear to the gilding on the spring ring. Found at an estate sale in Vienna.

Condition: Excellent antique condition for its age.
