Longines 9ct Gold Vintage 1950s Gents Wristwatch Manual Wind Small Seconds Swiss 34mm
A classic vintage Longines gentleman’s wristwatch dating to circa 1953, housed in a solid 9ct gold case and powered by a manual wind Swiss movement.
This elegant mid-century dress watch features a clean silvered dial with applied gold baton hour markers, dauphine-style hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, giving it a refined and timeless appearance typical of Longines design from the early 1950s. The dial is signed Longines with the winged hourglass logo and marked Swiss Made at the bottom edge.
The case measures approximately 34mm excluding the crown and is crafted in 9ct gold, showing honest wear and light surface marks consistent with age. The case back is unengraved. The watch is fitted with a later brown leather strap.
Condition is excellent vintage condition- working order and keeps good time. As standard the watch would benefit from a service.
