On lower valued items (under $20) that weigh less than 3 ounces including the flip and envelope, and are 1/2 inch or less in height, we offer eBay Standard Shipping with a cost of $1.32.

We offer this as we do not want our buyers to pay the ever-increasing postal cost (now between $5.50 and $6.00 for a coin or token sent in a protected bubble-wrap envelope).

If you decide to go with the $1.32 shipping method, please be aware that the post office treats these envelopes poorly. Even though there is a scannable tracking bar on every envelope (eBay notes the tracking number in your order), more than 90% of these envelopes are not scanned and, in many cases, they take three weeks to be delivered. 

With this in mind, please do not submit an item not received case for three weeks if your order has not arrived. Please be assured, we ship all order within three days even if the post office shows that the item has not been scanned.

We want our buyers to be happy so we wanted to let you know the situation with the standard shipping method. Many sellers are dropping that option because of the headaches it is causing them. We will continue to offer it and hopefully, our buyers will see this disclaimer before ordering.

Over the past month, we have been experimenting with eBay's standard envelope to ship coins under $8.00 to domestic addresses. As we have not had any issues shipping in a regular 10X4X1 envelope we are now going to ship all coins (no heavier medals, sets, or books) for just $1.25 if their value is $20 and under. Should you desire to have your coin shipped in a bubble-wrap envelope and pay the $4.00 noted below, let me know before paying for the coin.

If this item is less than 20.00 and the shipping cost is more than $1.25, it either did not qualify for the eBay Standard Envelope shipping service or we cannot protect it well in a regular envelope so you will see the $4.00 cost for shipping.

If your item does qualify for eBay Standard shipping service but you would rather have it sent in the bubble-wrap envelope we use to better protect the coin, please message us before making the purchase, and we will adjust the shipping cost.

In addition to more expensive coins and currency, Numismatics Online does our best to offer very inexpensive coins to help collectors fill some holes in their collection. It does not make sense to charge as much or more than the shipping cost for these less expensive coins. In the past, we were very concerned that the envelopes would get destroyed or lost in the mail. 

We are taping the envelopes very well to reduce the chance of the coin getting lost or destroyed (all coins are place in special cardboard designed for shipping coins).

Lastly, if you purchase two coins and their weight meets eBay's requirements, we will refund you the excess shipping cost. Three or more coins will be shipped in the bubble-wrap envelope.

You will find hundreds of coins and numismatic books fairly priced, and I often have a store-wide sale. I do combine ship to save you money so please take a look around the store. Shipping for one coin is $4.00. Each additional coin adds only 25 cents per coin. Simply request a combined shipping invoice before you pay. Sets and coins in original mint packaging may cost more in shipping due to the weight of the package. If you purchase multiple coins, you can either request an invoice or pay for each coin and I will refund the extra postage cost. 

International shipments will cost more! Please make sure it ships to your country. Shipping will most likely be $15 and up with some possible taxes and/or fees added to the cost right before payment. Please be aware of this when purchasing.

Coin sets will cost a little more to ship and multiple sets or sets with individual coins will be charged exact shipping. Again, I will refund you the difference.

As you will note from the feedback I have received, I carefully wrap all coins and books while using the best mailing materials.
