Postage cost for a postcard was 2½d since the 1st October 1957.

                   On the 17th May 1965 the inland postcard rate rose from 2½d to 3d.

                            This display portrays the rate of the previous and updated stamps for the UK National and     

                            Crown Dependencies of the Isle of Man and channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey).
