Featured is a complete set of 12 original 1948 small pin-up calendar pages illustrated by the legendary Alberto Vargas (1896–1982). Vargas, a Peruvian-American artist, is widely recognized as one of the most celebrated pin-up painters of the 20th century. His elegant, glamorous style helped define the genre, especially during his tenure with Esquire magazine beginning in 1939—when he famously dropped the "s" from his surname to become "Varga."

Each page in this set measures approximately 4" x 3 3/8" and showcases one of Vargas’s iconic pin-up girls.
