Blood Artist effects are very innocuous, but for the seasoned EDH player these effects do add up, and Sephiroth takes it to a new level if you can get his emblem off. The name of the game is here is survival, as the longer the game goes, the more likely your sephiroth triggers will have an impact, until ultimately the table won't be able to deal with your field, as even board wipes could turn into lethal burn spells.
