Installing valve springs and/or retainers has never been easier. With the help of this tool, it only takes a matter of seconds to install the valves spring assembly in your vehicle. The body is anodized CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum, for a gorgeous finish and excellent durability. The entire product is made from start to finish in the US. For Ford 4.6L 4V and 5.4L 4V engines. Simply place your valve spring and retainer in place, place the retainer cap on top of the retainer, and turn the long bolt to compress the springs until the valve keepers can be placed.

For use on all 4.6L/5.4L 4V Cylinder Heads including Cobra B and C Heads, 03/04 Cobra and Mach 1, Navigator, Ford GT / Shelby GT500 and FR500 Cylinder Heads.
In order to avoid bending the bolts and stripping threads, please use the provided lubricant where needed and lightly tap/hit the retainers with a hammer and a 16mm or 17mm long socket to release the taper/loosen the retainers. This will release the tension. The magnet on the back of the provided screwdriver facilitates the removal of the keepers
