Tiny Golden Library books printing history - Simon And Schuster printed the first Tiny Golden Books. Tiny Animal Stories were sold as a boxed set of 12. They had a green jungle print front endpaper, and no numbers on the covers. In 1964, Golden Press took over the publishing of the series. The earlier books had a red jungle print front endpaper. At some point they changed to plain yellow front endpapers. These books all had numbers on the covers.

Covers are thick cardboard. They are clean and have small chips on one spine end and a couple lower rear edges. (Note - chipping on edges were a common issue due to how they were cut at the factory) Corners are sharp and unworn. Bound tightly. No ownership markings and pages are clean. Yellow front pastedown endpaper, with the other three a colorful jungle print. Color illustrated throughout. Overall condition is Very Good+.
