The easel is centred on a tall vertical mast with a sliding carriage, operated by a hand-cranked iron screw mechanism, allowing smooth and precise adjustment of canvas height to accommodate works of varying scale.
Both height and tilt are fully adjustable. The central support can be raised or lowered via the screw-driven system, while the mast is mounted on a pivot with a rear brace, enabling the working angle to be altered from upright to a more reclined position.
