I got this running without issue.

Upon inspection, it does appear that the exhaust is the cause of the burning on the body around the exhaust. My guess is that it was caused by the exhaust being loose - it isn’t firmly attached to the body. I am not a mechanic so I didn’t even attempt to begin fixing it but I’m guessing it to be a relatively simple fix.

The other item that needs repair is the chain lock mechanism. It won’t engage, so the chain can spin without being able to lock it off. Not sure what is involved in fixing that either but those are the two items I see.
