People toss around the word "working" all the time on eBay. Usually it means the light bulb comes on. In this case, this radio WORKS and works well. The sliding pots have been cleaned with deoxit, as well as the rotary band switch, and both sliding switches on the back, and the AFC switch on the side.

This radio has been tested and received stations on AM, FM, Shortwave, and Marine Band. There aren't any VHF or AIR stations near me to test.

The fine-tuning dial is especially effective for tuning in Shortwave stations. Shortwave only comes in at night.

The AM and FM band work excellently and pick up every station, like you'd expect a properly working AM or FM radio to do. Keep in mind it is a 1960s radio and should be aligned for factory-spec performance.

This Panasonic logo was in use from 1965-1970, so I think this radio is from 1968-70; not earlier than 68 because I did not find it in my 1967 catalog.

Takes 4 D cells or built-in AC cord. Light is always-on with AC, and momentarily-on when pressing the Dial Light button with batteries.

The rotating dial drum is a cool feature. The lightbulb within the drum is endlessly "cool."

The antenna is kink-free and fully extends.

You almost never find separate bass and treble controls on a portable radio. Big speaker sound quality is among the best of any portable.

This will be packaged in a Big box with lots of padding all around. No need to worry about it being shipped in a box too small! If you've bought radios on eBay before, you know what I'm talking about.
