Offered here is a ruby red blown glass container with the majority of a candle inside. Mid-century late 1960s to early 1970s, it is a LENOX designed candle (see foiled label on the bottom) and was used once by our family at a Christmas dinner. It may be that LENOX used Anchor Hocking glass products for the candles in this collection, as I can only find similar 'vases' as AH products. However, I've found no literature on that hunch. My Grandmother worked for a home 'china shop' in the 1960s and this was purchased from the LENOX product line that Christmas, thus purchased for our holiday dinner.
Beautiful ruffled top edge, the glass container stands 3 1/2" tall and is nearly 3 3/4" at its widest. The candle, used once, has an available wick, but I have not ventured to light it. It appears as if it would still function as a working candle. All else is clean with no damage and a very nicely intact LENOX label.
We are clearing out our parent's estate and I have other items are listed, so take a look around. I offer a combined shipping refund after mailing. These come to you from a clean, non-smoking home!
Your red vase/candle will be packaged with care and mailed the most efficient, safe and fastest way possible on the next business day. Even though this listing reflects a certain shipping method, a faster, less expensive alternative may be substituted.
Please take good care in viewing the photos and ask questions beforehand as refunds are not offered.
Thanks for looking!
